The Hillsboro Arts & Culture Events Calendar is intended to be a gathering place of all arts and culture events taking place in the Hillsboro, Oregon area. Events that are not directly related to arts and culture may be submitted, but will only be posted if they serve the needs of our local arts and culture community.

The HACC strives to ensure that the information presented in this calendar is as complete and accurate as possible; however, due to circumstances beyond our control, event information may on occasion change or be omitted. The HACC makes no assurance as to the quality or accuracy of any information posted. The user assumes all risks associated with the use of this information. Always check with the organizer of an event to confirm its information.

The views and opinions of authors expressed herein do not necessarily reflect those of the HACC. Users may not use the community events calendar to disseminate any defamatory, obscene or otherwise unlawful material.

Please note that your event will not appear on the calendar until approved by the administrator. The HACC reserves the right to edit or reject any materials for publication on this calendar.

You can now add photographs to your event postings! Due to the constraints of the software, please only include 1 photograph per event. Also, photos should be no more than 250 pixels on its longest dimension. Event submissions that do not follow these guidelines may not be approved for posting. To add a photograph to your event posting, click on the "Attachments" button at the bottom of this form.

Instructions

  1. Select the calendar you would like the item posted to from the drop down list.
  2. Select the type that you think best describes your event.
  3. Be sure to put the name (or role) of a contact, and their phone number or EMail address in the contact information fields.
  4. If you have a URL to a web page with more information about the event, put that URL in the Addl. Info URL field.
  5. In the long description field, place additional information about your event. Information you may want to include would be location, attendees, or other pertinent information. You can put HTML in here, but no scripting calls.
  6. If your event repeats on a regular schedule (i.e. the 2nd Thursday of each Month), place that information in the Recurrence Info field, be sure to enter any exceptions, or times when you won't be following that schedule as well. Also, if you have a starting and ending date for the recurrence, put that in too.
